    I would recommend doing a local survey of pet business owners to see what they would be willing to spend on pet services or products that your business would supply.

    Also, take a look at other pet businesses in your area and see what they are doing to attract customers and judge how successful they are. If there are no other businesses supplying the same service - perhaps you have discovered an untapped market - or on the other hand there may not be enough demand in your area. If there are many competitors supplying similar products that can sometimes be a good sign as demand must be high.
